1. Who we are

FeedBug ("we", "us") is a visual bug reporting service operated from France. Contact: contact@feedbug.app.

2. Data we collect

When you sign in with Linear, we collect your email, full name, Linear user ID, and an OAuth access/refresh token used to create issues on your behalf.

When a feedback is submitted through the widget on your site, we collect:

  • The comment text written by the reporter
  • A viewport screenshot (JPEG)
  • The page URL, user agent, screen size, OS and browser
  • Console logs, JavaScript errors and failed network requests captured at the time of report
  • Custom data keys you explicitly configure (cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage entries)

We do not use cookies for tracking. We use first-party analytics (PostHog, EU region) on the marketing site only.

3. How we use it

Collected data is used solely to provide the service: authenticate you, create Linear issues, display feedback in your dashboard, and process billing through our payment provider.

We never sell your data, never share it with third parties for advertising, and never train any AI model on it.

4. Where it is stored

  • Database: Cloudflare D1 (EU region)
  • Screenshots: Cloudflare R2 (EU region)
  • Payments: LemonSqueezy (US, GDPR-compliant data processor)
  • Analytics: PostHog Cloud EU

5. Retention

We keep your account data as long as your account is active. Feedbacks remain available until you delete the corresponding project or close your account. Deleted records are removed within 30 days from all backups.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@feedbug.app. Deletion is also available at any time by removing your account from the dashboard.

You may file a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) at any time.

7. Security

All data is transferred over HTTPS. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest. We use Cloudflare's edge platform with WAF protection.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or via the dashboard before they take effect.
