Frequently asked questions
How does FeedBug create Linear issues from bug reports?
You connect your Linear workspace via OAuth and pick the team and project. When a tester submits a report through the widget, FeedBug creates a Linear issue with the screenshot, page URL, browser diagnostics and a link back to the live pin, attributed to the teammate who reported it.
Do my testers need a Linear account?
No. Reporters just click the bug on your site and write a comment. Only the workspace owner connects Linear. Issues are still attributed to the right reporter inside Linear.
What gets attached to each Linear issue?
A viewport screenshot, the page URL, OS, browser, screen size, console logs, JavaScript errors, failed network requests, a 30-second session replay, and any custom data keys you configure (cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage).
Does the Linear status sync back?
Yes. FeedBug listens to Linear webhooks, so when an issue moves to In Progress or Done, the status and color update on the corresponding pin and in your FeedBug dashboard.
Can my AI agent fix the bug from the Linear issue?
Yes. FeedBug ships an MCP server your AI coding agent connects to. It can read the bug, its diagnostics and DOM context and trace it to the source file to propose a fix.
